Somerdale Shed and Community Garden is funded by its members through membership subscriptions, by fund-raising events such as craft fairs and open days, by donations from the public, and by grants provided through local benefactors.

We are hugely grateful to the following for their support in getting the Shed started and helping it grow to what it is today, and for their ongoing contributions.

Our Landlords

We’d like to thank Somerdale Pavilion Trust and St Monica Trust for their ongoing generous support of the Somerdale Shed and Community Garden.

We are also grateful to Aquaterra, the original landlords, who supported and funded the start up of the shed.

Our Grantors

We are grateful for the generous support of the following organisations for granting funds and equipment to us:

St Johns FoundationRoyal Horticultural Society
Keynsham Town Council One Church, Keynsham
The Worshipful Company of Turners

Our Private Donors

We are very fortunate to receive regular donations from the public and friends of the Somerdale Shed and Community Garden, through our garden produce collections, and through donations of tools and materials.

Many donors wish to remain anonymous, but we extend our thanks to all who support us.

Our Members

A special thanks to all our ‘Shedders’ – the Gardeners, Crafters, and Woodworkers – for their continued support by being members, developing the groups and facilities, and for creating a supportive and happy environment.  And for ensuring the kettle doesn’t get cold!
